Haffar Industrial Company Limited started textile business in Nigeria as far back as 1927. The company was incorporated in 1969 and went into production of threads and Yarns. It was established to cater for the needs of the numerous sectors that made use of threads and yarns for the production of their various commodities like - the Mattress Industry, Shoe Manufacturer, Textile Industries especially those involved in the production of Lace materials, Fishing nets and for Sewing upholstery.

Also, the small-scale industries like weavers of native textiles like Aso Oke in Nigeria, Kente in Ghana and for various native embroideries.

The Company staff strength presently stands at 400 will rise by 100% as the company has plans to expand its offices.

The company does export officially to Kenya and Ghana and through its numerous customers. Haffar threads and yarns are found predominantly all over the west coast.
